Toyota Cries When Challenged

Looks like Toyota can't deal with the real big boys.

After Ford Motor Co. launched an advertising campaign for its Ford division claiming its initial quality now equals Toyota's, the Asian automaker fired back.

I've been saying it for awhile now, quality amoung american and japanese automotive companies is equal. So what does Toyota have to say about Ford's campaign?

Toyota is saying the numbers really don't mean anything anymore.

In a blog on Friday, Toyota USA spokesman Mike Michaels argues that initial quality ratings mean less than they used to.

Funny that they don't mean much once the American Auto Makers are equal with Toyota now.

Toyota says they will take their ball and go home.
