Poor Baby Maggie

Update to this post ...

We picked the babies up from the vet just an hour ago.

Poor Maggie, she lost her 2 front bottom teeth. They were loose so the vet pulled them. She got to keep the one that was "cracked", the vet called it a slab fracture and they just removed the "slab" part.

They said her teeth look good, a little gingivitis in the back. They said that they have small jaws and dogs with small jaws can loose teeth like Maggie did.

They gave us the 2 teeth so Maggie could put them under her pillow tonight for the tooth fairy.

She also had her cyst removed, they said they think it's a wart, but it was removed and sent out for further testing.

Poor girl, just looking at her you can see she doesn't feel good. She just wants to cuddle up and be babied.

Lance's teeth also look pretty good, a little gingivitis in the back but otherwise healthy!

The techs said eveytime they took one of them out of the cage (they put them together in one cage) the other would growl and bark at them. They thougt it was cute how protective of each other they are.

But I wonder if Maggie will now bark with a lisp?

Oh, poor Maggie! At least she's back home with her peeps. Glad everything went well!

Glad the puppy girl is back home with Momma. Sending her soft treats and warm spots to curl up and be loved.

Ming The Merciless, Eddie T. Dog and Cochise' Apache Princess all bark a little doggie prayer for Lance and, especially, Maggie. CAP says that anyone who needs a serious bite should be mailed to her.
