I just dropped the babies off at the vet for their yearly dental and Maggie's cyst removal.
They were no happy campers when they went one way and I went the other way, so glad I am working today because last year the house was too quite.
When I went to brush Maggie's teeth on sunday I noticed a crack in her tooth, turns out it's a sliver of tooth that cracked off the tooth. Vet said as long as it's a superficial crack (doesn't go all the way up) she won't lose the tooth (would that be correct, anybody have this happen?) So we have to wait and see what will happen.
Maggie is also have a cyst removed from her front upper leg, it's about 2-3 mm in diameter. It's in an area they can't bandage so it will probably just stiches. We opted to have them send it in for testing because I would rather be on the safe side then be cheap.
So please say a little prayer for Maggie and her tooth and cyst and that the whole thing doesn't make her have a seizure. I will be on edge all day until I hear she is minus a cyst and keeps her tooth.
Praying for Maggie today! Let us know when she's out and doing ok!!
Posted by: pam at November 21, 2007 09:59 AMBlessed are you, Lord God, maker of all living creatures. You called forth fish in the sea, birds in the air and animals on the land. You inspired St. Francis to call all of them his brothers and sisters. We ask you to bless this pet. By the power of your love, enable it to live according to your plan. May we always praise you for all your beauty in creation. Blessed are you, Lord our God, in all your creatures! Amen.
Hope that Maggie-girl will be fine!
