And They Think Waterboarding Is Torture

All the "old" people in our families have finally retired, Mr Weenie's mother was the last and she retired in October and prompting went in for hip replacement surgery. She has 2 knee replacements to go yet.

Mother-in-law Weenie lives in South Carolina.

She visits us usually once a year, but has never stayed for more than 4 days because she always had to get back to work and saved most of her vacation for visits to the grandkids in Maryland.

That has all changed now that she is retired.

She is visiting us during Christmas ...

FOR 9 DAYS

Talk about torture ....

gads ....

And what is even worse? We always have from Christmas Eve through New Years Day off (thank-you UAW and automotive industry). So we will be home the entire time she is with us.

Mr Weenie is freaking already, I am laughing at his freaking outness.

Bout time he has to deal with family during the holidays.

As the phrase goes..."You can run from Momma, but you can't hide for long!" ;)

LMAO

Good luck and pass the prozac!

My m-i-l lives in Chicago and is incapable of travel at this point... neener neener neener!!! LOL!

Good luck, but I bet you won't need it; everything will be fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!

I know how you feel. My Mom lives far enough away that a visit requires several overnights. She is not the problem. It is the "thing" she is married to. I dread when they come to visit. Life has been stressful here for about a year so maybe we will luck out and no visit at the holidays. **fingers, legs, arms, and eyes crossed**
