Just exactly, what in the hell is a

Boomer Sooner? I'm like that guy, I don't give crap, but I hope it wins.

In the latter part of the 19th Century they opened up much of the Indian Territory to white settlement. There was a set time for folks to race in and claim their land, many people snuck in early, they were called "Sooners". At about this time, and up until the great migrations of the Dust Bowl people migrating to new lands were called "Boomers".
Oklahoma was settled by Boomers and Sooners.
