1916 : Heaslet Special debuts
Studebaker announced the release of the Heaslet Special, a semi-custom touring car. The car was named in honor of Studebaker's vice president of engineering, James G. Heaslet.
I miss Studebakers. Not only were they neat cars, especially the ones that looked the same front and back but the Studebaker trucks had much to do with our victory in WW2.
