Driving to work this morning I had a thought that scared me.
I was driving past a gas station and thought to myself "Wow, gas is really cheap right now"
The price per gallon?
$2.93
Yes, I was excited over gas being $2.93. Sad, sad, sad.
Posted by Quality Weenie at July 23, 2007 08:44 AM | TrackBackYou know what I don't understand? The disparity in prices from one station to another...! The Shell up the road is straining to keep regular under 3 bucks at 2.99 but Hess has it for 2.87??
It's always like that.
I'd love to hear an explanation, really.
But yeah, it's funny how we've been conditioned now to think that anything under 3.00 is 'cheap'. Too bad I'm so old I remember when a gallon was a quarter. ;)
