RIP Bo Schembechler

Former University of Michigan head coach Bo Schembechler passed away Friday morning, Providence Hospital officials said.

Schembechler, who had a medical emergency and was transported to Providence Hospital in Southfield, was 77 years old.

Schembechler's medical history includes two major heart attacks as well as two quadruple bypass surgeries, and just two weeks ago, the former coach had a pacemaker implanted.

He and Woody put the "piss and vinegar" in this rivalry game comin' up tomorrow.

I bet his mad as hell he's not gonna see it on the big screen he was speaking about earlier this week.

He's probably got a seat next to Woody, watchin' the game from up above...

I was so sad to hear this! He used to come into the restaurant i worked in in AnnArbor when I lived up that way. I always liked him.

And when he died I thought, 'Wow, how old could he be?" I was remembering him the age I saw him at... and that was more than 20 years ago.
