The insurance institute has put out their list of the most stolen vehicles for 2005. Here they are:
Vehicle / Thefts per 1000
Cadillac Escalade / 13.8
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4WD / 11.9
Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab / 11.1
Ford F-250/350 supercrew 4WD / 8.9
Chrysler Sebring / 8.5
Looks like even theives don't like stealing those foreign jobs!
And now, the list of the least stolen vehicles:
Vehicle / Thefts per 1000
Ford Taurus station wagon / 0.3
Pontiac Vibe 4WD / 0.4
Buick LeSabre / 0.5
Buick Park Avenue / 0.5
Toyota Sienna 4WD / 0.6
If your car is on the least stolen vehicle list, you may want to consider getting a new car cause you have a car that even theives don't want.
Wonder where my 91 Accord fits into the list :-)
